Barry Hilton Barry was borrn in 1941 in Manchester but moved to Cornwall in 1979 where the experienceof working alongside a group of extremely active artists helped in the development of his artistic abilities as he has no formal training. His love of nostalgia which he captures in his paintings of Gas light Street and Marine scenes are much sought after and are well represented in private galleries throughout the UK. However Barry refuses to be stereotyped and has recently had considerable success with beach scenes and still life painted in a very modern style.
