1. Is Artwork a good investment?
At SMART gallery all our artwork is Limited Edition or original and therefore extremely limited or exclusive in the numbers produced. We cannot guarantee that all artwork will increase in value but we are confident that all pieces are good investments whether it be on a monetary basis or quite simply because they are pieces that you fall in love with and can share with your friends and family for many years to come.
"According to the Art and Antiques index compiled by Hiscox, the insurer, and Art Market Research, a data company, prices have increased on contemporary art by 55%." Quote taken from a Yahoo Finance Report article by Naomi Caine (2008)

4. I'm getting married and would like to set up a gift list with you - is this possible?
Yes! Smart Gallery have a wedding gift list facility where you can choose a specific piece of artwork you would like to 'save towards' or can simply ask your guests to buy gift vouchers which you can then put towards the piece of artwork of your choice and take your time to find that special piece of Original or Limited Edition artwork. We will post the vouchers to you directly or to your guests if you would prefer - the choice is yours! We can also include a short message from your guests on the vouchers which is a nice keepsake to look back on in years to come (once the vouchers are redeemed we can return them to you for your keepsake box).
All you need to do is contact us with your details and we will call you back to arrange the details with you. Very simple (and stress free)!!

7. I am really limited for time because I am buying as a present. Can you help?
We cannot guarantee that we can meet stringent time scales as it may be that we have to order pieces in from our publishing house. Don't be concerned! There couldn't be anything simpler! All you need to do is search for artwork using specific keywords, browse the collections under specific artists or browse the website generally and view any specific offers. If you see something you like click onto it and you will see all the information about the piece and its price on the right hand side of your screen. Add the item to your shopping basket and then checkout. You will be asked for your personal and payment details (which rest assured are all kept secure) confirm your order and that's it! You will receive an email to confirm your purchase details and then we will be in touch as soon as your order is ready to let you know when to expect your delivery. Unless otherwise stated, online artwork is usually mounted only and the price will reflect this. It is possible for us to frame it for you but the price would increase to a framed price. If you would prefer the artwork to be framed you will need to fill out a contact us form and we will get in touch with you to discuss your additional requirements.
9. How can I be confident that my online payment is secure?
