This piece holds a weighty meaning of wildlife clinging on for life. During a time of climate crisis, small details showing humans jumping ship and swimming away, whilst eyes watch on. Hummingbirds carry the words ‘wreck-less abandonment’ as they fly away. The beauty of wildlife mixed with the sadness of the fight for survival created by us. This painting aims to enjoy the beauty of wildlife and highlight it in a jewel tones mix of beautiful embellishments.
