Biography

Immensely inspired by her North Yorkshire surroundings, Eve Melia captures local landmarks and beauty spots through the medium of acrylic paint, bringing the nostalgia of her childhood to life. Her focus is in creating artwork evocative of the glory days.

From the youthful age of just two, Eve aspired to express dreamy images from her imagination onto paper. From the greenest, veiny leaves to every eyelash of a princess, the details were always of utmost importance.

Painting a diverse range of subjects from family portraits to the wild moors, her artistic pursuit is as strong now as it ever has been.

As the years have gone by, Eve has joyfully completed hundreds of bespoke portrait commissions, not only a proud achievement but a dream come true every day. She also enjoys learning about the technicalities and aesthetics of picture framing. She hopes to soon travel to more local, hidden gems to gather inspiration, photos and most importantly, to keep making memories.
